Stump removal in Lynnwood: access decides the fit
Lynnwood grew up around the I-5 and I-405 junction, and much of it is compact lots, from postwar neighborhoods to recent infill. Yet many yards still hold big Douglas fir and western red cedar, and wooded ravines run through Meadowdale and along Swamp Creek. When those trees come down, their stumps usually sit behind a house, between fences, or on a slope into a ravine. That makes stump removal here more about reaching the stump than grinding it.
So the first thing we check is the route. The CAT 275XE is a compact track loader, but it still needs more room than a walk-through gate or narrow side yard. If the stump is reachable, we measure the root flare, request 811 locates and plan protection. If it isn't, or it's one small stump, we'll tell you honestly that a smaller grinder may be the better tool.
