Driveway resurfacing in Snohomish: farm lanes, hill drives and shared roads
Around Snohomish, gravel driveways are normal, not the exception. Farm lanes cross the flat Snohomish River valley, and private roads climb the plateaus toward Cathcart, Clearview and the Three Lakes area, often shared by several households. Valley lanes collect standing water and grow potholes. Hill drives lose rock downhill and wash into ruts. Driveway resurfacing here usually means recovering rock that has migrated to the edges and rebuilding a crown, not burying the problem under another truckload.
On the assessment we measure length and width, dig into the surface to see how much usable rock remains, and note where runoff enters and leaves. For shared private roads we can split the price by section. If the base is soft and pumping, or the drive needs a new culvert or ditch, we say so and quote that separately once we've seen it.
