Stump grinding in Bothell: access comes first
Bothell's neighborhoods around Canyon Park, Maywood and North Creek were built into second-growth forest, so many yards carry mature Douglas fir, cedar and bigleaf maple close to houses and fences. When those trees come down, they leave broad root flares on lots that are often sloped and fenced. The stump itself is rarely the hard part. Getting a track loader to it is.
So the assessment starts at the street: gate widths, side-yard clearance, retaining walls, slope and soft lawn. If the CAT 275XE can reach your stumps safely, the SG36 swings and extends from the cab, which lets us work beside a fence or foundation once it's protected. If it can't, we tell you honestly and a smaller walk-behind grinder is the better call. Utility locates are called in before grinding.
