Stump removal in Duvall: pasture, forest edge and ridge lots
Around Duvall, working land meets forest. Valley-floor parcels along SR-203 have pasture edges and old fence rows where alder, cottonwood and bigleaf maple once grew, and ridge lots above town are carved out of Douglas fir and cedar. Clearing either leaves stumps in groups rather than one at a time. The valley ground is soft for much of the year and the ridge lots can be steep, so the plan depends on which side of town you're on.
We walk every stump with you, measure each root flare at ground level, and plan the machine's route so it doesn't rut a wet pasture or cross a septic field. On valley ground we may suggest waiting for drier conditions if the soil won't carry the machine. On ridge lots we check the grade and a safe place to set up. Chips can stay as fill, be piled or be hauled away.
